@PawełMM: Thanks. The second one looks great but there is little cut on the right on his t-shirt. Would be possible to fix it? Would it be possible to make first one little bit more smooth? Eurohunter (talk) 16:15, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: Done as requested. PawełMM (talk) 18:04, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: The second one was kinda "blue" and now it's kinda "red"? Which program do you use? Maybe I can do the first image even more smooth yet? Eurohunter (talk) 18:18, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: Second photo color restored. Further smoothing the first image would distort the details. PawełMM (talk) 20:36, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: I will try with IrfanView. Eurohunter (talk) 20:38, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: So I tried with IrfanView but then single pixels are visible. There should be some tool which could make it more "natural" - mixing pixels - blur effect? Eurohunter (talk) 18:56, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: In my opinion, further processing of this photo makes no sense. Attempts at even minimal blurring cause the blurring of details and the image looks out of focus. The retouch may have caused some glitches, but I would leave it as is. PawełMM (talk) 20:49, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: So it would need en:digital photograph restoration? Eurohunter (talk) 13:40, 10 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Graphist opinion(s)

@Eurohunter: I'm sorry, but I don't know what you'd like to correct about in this image. In my opinion, there is nothing to do here. Write specifically what changes you want. PawełMM (talk) 06:06, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@PawełMM: I don't know how to describe it exactly but t would be photograph restoration like in this case - it's like missing parts are recreated from scractch. Eurohunter (talk) 19:29, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: But there is nothing to recreate in this photograph. There are microphone stands in the background of the figures. You can't recreate something that doesn't exist. PawełMM (talk) 20:56, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: I mean restored parts are clean I can imagine in this case it could be recreated too. Eurohunter (talk) 18:06, 20 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: I cleared the background. I think it's now the way you wanted it. I'm not going to change anything else here. If you think that's enough, insert {{section resolved|1=~~~~}}. PawełMM (talk) 06:19, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: It looks way better now. Could you tell me what program do you use, so I could try to go further myself. Eurohunter (talk) 15:50, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: I'm using GIMP 2.10.2. PawełMM (talk) 16:07, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@PawełMM: Good to know. Which options did you use? Eurohunter (talk) 19:37, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Eurohunter: This is a series of actions that change parts of an image. Copying, pasting, smoothing, local colour and contrast enhancement etc. Too complicated to describe in detail here, especially as each image to be corrected is edited in a slightly different way.

    Master Frisky title[edit]

    For a Wikisource transcription. There are some pencil markings on the page, namely the scribbling near the bottom left corner, the check mark next to "By" and the words ", 1869-" written next to Clarence Hawkes's name. Please remove these to make it look more like the original image. And also please make the background of this image completely white rather than mostly white like it is now. Yellow-legged gull[edit]

    Article(s): en:Yellow-legged gull (only if exchanged with File:Yellow-legged gull in Rome, Italy 2.jpg, for the meantime it is just another version of the current FPC)

    Request
    chromatic aberration, DoF, Oe, tone and colour & etc. fixes needed. Most of the CA is on the breast/chest area, the Oe too. (I have another version of the image which is currently a COM:FPC, I may need to switch it with this one, if it's fixable. If you see that I've reverted your version it's because this one is currently pending for promotion to QI in 1-2 days, I may revert your version if I don't think it has retained or gained quality.) --多多123 15:27, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
    Graphist opinion(s)
    I made some small edits, mostly to lessen the chromatic aberration and overexposure. I also did not want to change the file too much in case it messes up the QI process. I haven't done any tone/color correction, I'd like more direction on that. ReneeWrites (talk) 21:01, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

    Remove Chromatic aberration[edit]

    Article(s): en:Indira Gandhi International Airport

    Request
    Please remove CA in the lights. --Wasiul Bahar (talk) 07:51, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
    Graphist opinion(s)

    @Wasiul Bahar: This is, of course, feasible, but the effort required is disproportionately large in relation to the expected effect. Hence, in my opinion, there is little point in undertaking this task. Chromatic aberration is an indivisible feature of the lens with which this photograph was taken.
